a new 50 nanometer resolution linear motor based xy stage, lxy25 series, incorporating cross roller linear bearing has been developed by smac corporation. it has been used to solve a critical automotive part problem at a major asian automobile manufacturer.

the part is a machined aluminium casting with 3 critical bores machined in it. required tolerance is less than 4 micron on each bore. high volume traditional machining results in a variation of over 20micron. the customer decided to sort into 5 categories to much the 4 micron requirement.
量测的零件是加工的铝铸件[/b], [/b]铝铸件上有[/b]3[/b]个极重要的加工钻孔[/b].[/b]每一个钻孔要求的尺寸公差值低于四微米[/b].[/b]高产能的传统加工法的变动在[/b]20[/b]微米[/b].[/b]因此客户决定分五大类每一类以[/b]4[/b]微米为单位[/b].[/b][/b]
in order to prevent rejects at the boundary between categories a maximum 500 nanometer measurement variation was decided upon. since the part is a high volume one - one per automobile - a very precise and fast measurement instrument was required.
为了避免一些边缘数值的零件被丢弃[/b],[/b]量测分类的变化值决定提高至[/b]500[/b]奈米[/b].[/b]因为该零件属于高产能因此需要非常精密以及量测迅速的仪器[/b].[/b][/b]
the smac lxy25 series of xy stage fits the requirement - indeed the customer said smac is the only solution.
