(1) Durable Absolute Position Detection
The ABSOCODER detects the rotary position in absolute format. Even if the power supply is
interrupted, the current position can be detected correctly when the power supply is recovered,
eliminating origin-point return.
(2) Highly Accurate Control
The switch ON/OFF positions can be controlled accurately by setting them in increments of 0.1 .
The VARICAM Series electronic cam switch format replaces the conventional mechanical cam switch
format. NSD’s unique absolute position detection unit is incorporated in the detection section, ensuring
highly reliable position detection.
(3) Quick Response
The maximum switch output is 0.1 ms, ensuring very quick response.
(4) Easy Setup Change
Up to 20 programs can be registered. Setup can be changed by simply selecting a different program.
Further, the switch ON/OFF positions can be increased up to 128 points, enabling smooth operation
for a variety of small lot production.
(5) Current Position Output Code
BCD or binary can be selected as the output code of the current position and the rotation speed.
